Privacy policy
How MarketStudyBuddy uses your information.
Last updated July 31, 2026.
This policy explains how MarketStudyBuddy collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit this website, contact us, or use the MarketStudyBuddy service.
What information do we collect?
We collect information you provide to us. This may include your name, email address, company, demo address, and message when you request a live demo; account and organization details when you register; branding, settings, addresses, and other inputs you submit to create a study; and messages you send to support.
We also collect technical and usage information automatically. This may include your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, actions taken, and the dates and times of visits. Cloudflare, which hosts the website and service, also processes standard request and security logs.
How may we use analytics?
We may use first-party or third-party analytics tools to understand how people find and use the website and service, measure performance, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve our content and product. These tools may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies and may process the technical and usage information described above on our behalf.
Where applicable law requires consent, we will request it before using non-essential analytics technologies. You can also control cookies through your browser, although blocking some technologies may affect how the website or service works. We do not use analytics information to determine the results of a market study.
How do we use information?
We use information to:
- provide, operate, secure, and improve the website and service;
- create studies and other outputs you request;
- authenticate accounts and administer customer organizations;
- arrange demos, answer questions, and provide support;
- analyze usage, reliability, and product performance;
- detect fraud, misuse, and security incidents; and
- comply with law and enforce our agreements.
When do we disclose information?
We disclose information to service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, and operate MarketStudyBuddy or communicate with you. For example, live demo requests are delivered through Mailgun. These providers may process information only for the work they perform for us and under their own applicable terms.
Running a study sends the address and related site inputs to services that answer the request. We do not intentionally include your customer name or account credentials with those inputs. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How do organization data and share links work?
Studies and settings are associated with your organization. Access is limited to authorized organization members unless a member creates a share link. Anyone with an active share link may be able to view the linked report, and organization members can revoke that link. Do not place confidential or sensitive personal information in an address, project title, or other study input unless it is necessary and you are authorized to do so.
How long do we keep information?
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and security records, comply with law, and resolve disputes. The retention period depends on the type of information and why we collected it. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer identifies you.
What choices and rights do you have?
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and legal exceptions may apply.
How do we protect information?
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Is MarketStudyBuddy intended for children?
No. MarketStudyBuddy is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Can this policy change?
Yes. We may update this policy as MarketStudyBuddy changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
How can you contact us about privacy?
Use the contact form on the live demo page to ask a privacy question or submit a request concerning your information.
