Terms of service
Terms for using MarketStudyBuddy.
Effective July 31, 2026.
These Terms of Service govern your access to the MarketStudyBuddy website, applications, reports, and related services. By accessing or using MarketStudyBuddy, you agree to these terms. If you use MarketStudyBuddy for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and “you” includes that organization.
1. Who may use MarketStudyBuddy?
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You may use MarketStudyBuddy only in compliance with these terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not access or use the website or service.
2. What does the service provide?
MarketStudyBuddy creates market-study materials from an address and other inputs you provide. Features, exports, access limits, and availability may change as the service develops. A demo, early-access feature, preview, or beta feature may be modified or discontinued at any time.
If you have a separate written agreement with us, that agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these terms.
3. How must you manage your account?
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that people you invite to an organization have appropriate access. You may not share credentials in a way that circumvents account or usage limits.
4. What uses are prohibited?
You may not use MarketStudyBuddy to:
- break the law, violate another person’s rights, or facilitate harmful conduct;
- submit information you do not have the right to use;
- probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass the security or access controls of the service;
- introduce malware or use automated traffic that unreasonably burdens the service;
- misrepresent generated material or use it in a deceptive or discriminatory manner;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract non-public software, models, or methods except where law expressly permits it; or
- resell or provide the service itself to third parties unless we agree in writing.
5. What rights do you keep in your content?
You keep ownership of the addresses, text, branding, files, and other content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve MarketStudyBuddy. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the content and grant this license.
You are responsible for reviewing your inputs and generated materials before sharing or relying on them. Do not submit regulated, highly sensitive, or confidential personal information that is not necessary to create the requested study.
6. How may you use generated materials?
Subject to these terms and any applicable plan limits, you may use, reproduce, and share the reports and exports generated for your organization for your internal and commercial real estate work. Materials may include information licensed or made available under third-party terms, and your use remains subject to any notices or restrictions included with them.
Generated materials are informational screening tools, not legal, financial, investment, valuation, engineering, environmental, planning, or other professional advice. They do not guarantee sales, site performance, permits, financing, or any transaction outcome. You must independently verify material information and use qualified professionals where appropriate.
7. What does MarketStudyBuddy own?
We and our licensors retain all rights in the website, service, software, design, trademarks, and underlying technology, excluding your content and rights expressly granted to you. These terms do not grant you ownership of MarketStudyBuddy or any right to use our names or marks except to identify unmodified materials generated by the service.
If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation to you.
8. How do fees work?
Some access may be offered without charge during early access. If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to the price, billing cycle, taxes, usage limits, renewal terms, and cancellation terms shown when you subscribe or stated in an order. Except where law requires otherwise or the applicable order says otherwise, fees are non-refundable. We may change future pricing with advance notice before the change applies to a renewal.
9. Does the service depend on third parties?
Yes. MarketStudyBuddy relies on hosting, communications, information, and other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or content outside our control. Their terms may apply to your use of their features or information.
10. Can the service change or become unavailable?
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable usage limits. We work to keep MarketStudyBuddy available but do not promise uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. Maintenance, security events, upstream outages, or other circumstances may affect access or results.
11. When can access end?
You may stop using MarketStudyBuddy at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure, fail to pay applicable fees, or if continued operation is no longer practical. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export available materials. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms.
12. What warranties are disclaimed?
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarketStudyBuddy and all generated materials are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that information is current or that a generated result will be suitable for your purpose.
13. How is liability limited?
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarketStudyBuddy and its owners, affiliates, suppliers, and personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or transaction outcomes, even if advised that such damages are possible.
Our total liability arising from or related to the service or these terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so those provisions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
14. What must you indemnify us for?
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MarketStudyBuddy and its owners, affiliates, suppliers, and personnel from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.
15. What law applies to disputes?
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which MarketStudyBuddy has its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a court with jurisdiction where MarketStudyBuddy has its principal place of business, and you consent to that venue. Applicable consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived remain in effect.
16. How can these terms change?
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised terms here and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.
17. What other terms apply?
Our privacy policy explains how we handle information. If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
18. How can you contact us?
Use the contact form on the live demo page with questions about these terms.
